 Aegirine is black to greenish or brownish black. The crystals have a vitreous luster and are generally opaque to translucent. The crystal habit includes long prismatic crystals terminated by a steep asymmetrical pyramid. The thin edges of the crystal can be a translucent green.

 This is a protection and purification stone. Aegirine can support the release of negative attachments and create an auric shield. It can make you more self-aware of toxic behaviors and strengthen you to move past them.
